Se não fosse pelos faróis, retrovisores e outros equipamentos exigidos por lei para que ela rodasse nas ruas, poderia facilmente ser confundida com a Yamaha M1 pilotada por Valentino Rossi na MotoGP.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Pode parecer que você já leu essa história antes, mas realmente essa nova R1 traz para as ruas inovações e tecnologias antes visto somente em motos de corrida. Nova dos “pés a cabeça”, a R1 traz um motor ainda mais potente com diversas inovações mecânicas, três mapas eletrônicos de desempenho, embreagem deslizante e um novo quadro de alumínio.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Motor&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;O propulsor de quatro cilindros em linha, DOHC, com refrigeração líquida manteve a mesma capacidade cúbica do anterior: 998 cc. Mas as semelhanças com o motor que equipa o modelo 2008 param por aí. Tudo - do virabrequim ao cabeçote - é novo.&lt;br /&gt;Aliás, o virabrequim do tipo “crossplane” como o utilizado nos motores V8 e também o intervalo de ignição (270°-180°-90°-180°) são as grandes novidades da R1 2009. Tanto esse virabrequim com cada biela posicionada a 90° como o motor com cada cilindro “explodindo” individualmente são novidades mecânicas nunca antes utilizadas em motos de rua – segundo a fábrica a tecnologia vem diretamente da M1 de Rossi. Mostrando também a opção dos engenheiros da marca em buscar soluções mecânicas e não apenas eletrônicas para melhorar o motor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;O benefício prático é que o torque inercial que compõe o par máximo da moto é minimizado. Isso faz com que o torque transferido à roda traseira tenha uma relação muito próxima de 1:1 com o torque proveniente da câmara de combustão, controlado pela mão do piloto no acelerador. Isso significa uma entrega de torque mais linear e precisa. Proporcionando, segundo a Yamaha, um controle da aceleração nunca antes experimentado por motociclistas comuns.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Para quem não curte muito explicações técnicas, o torque da nova R1 está ligeiramente superior, porém mais linear e constante: agora são 11,8 kgf.m a 10.000 rpm, contra os 11,5 kgf.m do modelo anterior – isso sem a indução direta de ar que atua em altas velocidades. A potência também aumentou timidamente sem a indução de ar. Subiu dos 180 cv anteriores para 182 cv a 12.500 rpm.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Outras novidades do modelo 2009 são a adoção de uma embreagem deslizante, bastante útil nas reduções bruscas de marcha antes de contornar curvas, e três mapas de ignição do motor. Utilizado pela primeira vez em uma moto de série da Yamaha, o sistema de escolha de mapeamento da ignição já vem equipando as motos Suzuki da linha GSX-R desde 2007. O D-mode Map da Yamaha também oferece três diferentes modos: standard para diversos tipos de pilotagem; modo A para respostas mais esportivas; e o modo B para respostas mais “gentis” do acelerador.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Claro que as qualidades do modelo anterior, tais como acelerador eletrônico e dutos de admissão variáveis, também equipam a YZF-R1 2009. Tudo controlado por um módulo eletrônico.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Chassi e design&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mas as alterações não ficaram apenas no motor. O quadro Deltabox em alumínio também é totalmente diferente do anterior. Além de apresentar um equilíbrio ainda melhor entre rigidez e flexibilidade, ficou mais compacto. Centralizando as massas e reduzindo o centro de gravidade de toda a motocicleta.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Suspensões, freios, um pneu traseiro com nova medida 190/55-17 e o até então inédito amortecedor de direção eletrônico... foram projetados para melhorar ainda mais essa superesportiva de 1.000cc.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Quanto ao design, a Yamaha não fez mudanças radicais, mas estas são facilmente perceptíveis. A carenagem frontal está mais “pontuda” e com dois canhões de luz. Na traseira, os escapamentos ganharam formas triangulares e a lanterna de LED também tem novo desenho. Além de ela parecer mais compacta.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;De acordo com a marca, as mudanças no chassi e no motor do modelo 2009 são as mais significativas nos 11 anos de história da motocicleta – a Yamaha R1 foi lançada em 1998. As &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Kasinski Comet 250 e Mirage 250&lt;/span&gt; são as motos mais potentes da categoria, com seus 32,5 cv. Porém têm um torque mais baixo que o da concorrência (naked). Robustas e confortaveis, elas trazem um porte de 500cc numa moto "popular". Com essas motos, que são originais da Hyosung, a Kasinski (revenda oficial brasileira) mostra a moto naked mais esportiva do mercado, com baixa cilindrada, e a moto custom mas forte também.&lt;br /&gt;Porém, essa mesma marca exagera demais no valor de seus simbolos. Sendo vendidas com os preços de 15 mil reais, a Kasinski supervaloriza seu produto, que além destas motos, também oferece a Comet GTR 250, com o mesmo motor e tecnologia, porém com carenagem, e exagerando no valor de 19 mil reais (concorrente da GS 500? Ilário isso). A marca ainda tem que melhorar, pois não é tão conhecida.
